‘Rascal’ really has it all - super conformation, lovely paces, impressive breeding and fantastic temperament. He was 28.5” as a two year old (has yet to be officially measured since), bay in colour, a very strong little lad, who is as solid as his sire, Cramar Hartington, who has very impressive bone. He really does take after his sire in looks and personality, but takes his temperament from his dam, who is very affectionate & adores people. He is incredibly well bred, with Cramar, Firth, Kerswell, South Sands, Vorden & Fairy all in the last four generations - most of them in the last 2 generations. Rascal passed his stallion license vetting as a two year old, and was entered into the 2007 studbook as a fully licensed stallion. In 2008, we made the decision to geld him, to allow us to retain both him & his sire who is now our stud stallion. In 2009 & 2010 he was turned away to mature. We hope to begin formal work with him over this winter, and he has just been enrolled as a member of the new Horse Agility group. Rascal is very much a favourite with most visitors to the stud, due to his huge personality.
