Ponies Handling/Training

We are happy to work with your pony in any area that you wish improved or taught - lungeing / long-reining / loading / bathing / tieing up / handling / traffic / leading / tacking up / preparation for riding or driving etc. If any service you require is not listed, please contact us - we can probably help!

We are very experienced in bringing on unhandled & problem ponies however extreme the behaviour, and are also happy to take colts/entires as well as mares & fillies.

Owners Training In Handling & Stable Management

We can also help owners to improve their skills at handling, stable management, lungeing or long reining - whatever is required.

Stallion Licensing

If you would like to get your colt through his stallion licensing assessment under the SPSBS, we can take your colt, work with him briefly before the assessment, present him for assessment & get him through his licensing vetting for you. If you would like to license your colt yourself, but are not sure of his quality, we will be happy to offer a pre-licensing assessment of our own.

Please note: if your colt is physically capable of licensing, we are confidant he will pass under our care, however colts who have a physical issue or are not typey enough will not pass - and we would not attempt to put them through if we do not think they can do it. Our vet is very thorough & honest - your colt will pass on merit, not for any less acceptable reason.

Show Production

In the future we hope to also offer show production, but for now we intend to concentrate on our own stock.

Judging

Clare Holland is available for judging show classes at Riding Club & local level only, while becoming listed & probationing with societies. Also available for stewarding at all levels.

Pedigree Printouts

We also hope to be able to offer print outs of Shetland ponies pedigrees showing colour & height at some point in the future.
