Born in the early hours of 27th June 2008, out of Cranford Azure D’Amour (Saffi), by Shambles Super Ted, Varkies Valko is a cracking little blue dun colt. His name is derived from the Bulgarian word Valk, meaning ‘wolf’. Sadly, at just four weeks of age, we lost Saffi, Valko’s mum, and he is now being hand reared. It is too early to say how well this will go. Pictures taken below are just in the days before Saffi’s illness & loss, and show him in his last happy days with mum.
